When it comes to choosing the best frisbee for your furry friend, there are a few things to consider. Firstly, you want to make sure it’s durable enough to withstand your dog’s strong jaws and playful nature. Look for frisbees made from tough materials such as rubber or durable plastic.
Secondly, the size is important. Choose one that is appropriately sized for your dog. A frisbee that is too small may be a choking hazard, while one that is too large may be difficult for your dog to pick up or carry.

Lastly, consider the design of the frisbee. Some frisbees are designed to be easier for dogs to catch, while others are designed for longer throws. Choose one that fits your dog’s skill level and play style.
By taking these factors into consideration, you can choose the best frisbee for your dog and ensure hours of fun playtime together.
Our Favorite frisbee is Hyper Pet Flippy Flopper 9″ Flying Disc Soft Dog Toy

Pros– The Hyper Pet Flippy Flopper 9″ Flying Disc Soft Dog Toy is our favorite frisbee. Firstly, it is incredibly durable and has not ripped even after numerous tugging sessions with my furry friend. It also floats in water, which is a big plus for us. Additionally, it’s very easy to throw with minimal effort and it usually flies in the correct direction. Plus my dog is able to catch up to the frisbee and catch it in the air. All these features make it our favorite frisbee for playtime with Capri. I also like that it comes in a 2 pack because Capri isn’t the best at “drop it” therefore I always have one to trade her so I can throw the other one. Overall, it’s a great frisbee that has brought us many hours of fun playtime together.
Cons– There is only one con that I can think of. The frisbee tends to get wet from my dog carrying it, which can be a bit unpleasant, but it is not a major issue and it doesn’t stop me from playing with her. Overall, its an excellent choice for any dog owner looking for a durable and fun frisbee that can withstand hours of playtime.

Chuckit! Paraflight Flyer Dog Toy

Pros– It’s also easy to throw and flies well, making it a fun option for both me and my dog. It can come in two different sizes which is a nice benefit for both small and large dogs. It’s light weight so it’s easy for most dogs to carry. Additionally, it’s brightly colored which makes it easy to spot in grass or water.
Cons– I will say this lasted us only a few days, due to tugging so hard that it started to fall apart and the little strings started to go EVERYWHERE. I even found them in her poop, so if your dog is really into tug. Overall, while it’s not our top pick, it’s still a great frisbee that we enjoy playing with.

Our least favorite we tested out was Nerf Dog Rubber Tire Flyer Dog Toy, Flying Disc.

Pros: It’s made of a rubber material which took longer than normal for Capri to start pulling chunks of it off. It feels like a normal frisbee which is heavier and can throw farther than the other ones listed.
Cons: It has a hollow center that tends to catch grass and dirt, making it less enjoyable to play with. Capri also kept pulling chunks of grass out from the middle of it, which was a bit frustrating for me and ruining my yard. Once she started pulling chunks of the rubber off it was time to throw it away.
In conclusion, choosing the best frisbee for your dog can be a fun and exciting process. By considering factors such as durability, size, and design, you can find a frisbee that is perfect for your furry friend. While the frisbees mentioned here are great options, it’s important to keep your individual dog in mind when making a decision. Some dogs may prefer a frisbee that is easier to catch, while others may enjoy playing tug with other dogs. By observing your dog’s behavior during playtime and experimenting with different frisbees, you can find the perfect fit for your furry friend.
