Paw Protectors For Dogs Keep Your Dog’s Paws Safe
If you’re looking for a solution to protect your dog’s paws during winter walks, or hot pavement paw protectors are exactly what you need. Loobani paw pads provide much-needed traction on icy sidewalks and prevent frozen paws, ensuring your dog can enjoy outdoor adventures even in the coldest temperatures and hottest days!
Living in Wisconsin, where winters can be brutally cold, I’ve found paw pads to be an absolute lifesaver for Capri. During those frigid, below-zero days, she would go outside to do her business, only to sit down immediately because her paws were too cold to walk. I felt so bad watching her struggle, so I decided to give paw pads a try—and I’m so glad I did!
These paw pads have been a game changer, keeping her paws protected and comfortable on even the coldest days. I can’t recommend them enough for anyone who wants to keep their dog’s paws safe and warm in harsh winter conditions.

The Paw Pad Miracle: Capri’s New Favorite Winter Gear
I’ve tried dog boots before, and let me tell you, they were a struggle. Capri hated them, I hated putting them on, and they’d always fall off in deep or wet snow. When I first introduced these paw pads to Capri, I was fully expecting her to hate them—after all, she’s not a fan of anything on her body, whether it’s a harness, clothing, or boots.

I braced myself for her to lick them off or try to paw them off, but to my surprise, she never once tried to remove them! I was absolutely shocked at how well she tolerated them, and even more amazed at how well they worked.

How to Use Anti-Slip Dog Paw Pads
How to Use the Anti-Slip Dog Paw Pads:
- Trim your dog’s nails and hair for best results, make sure to clean your dog’s paws before applying the pads, as this will enhance their stickiness and effectiveness. Learn about our favorite dog grooming supplies here!
- Keep your dog’s paw clean and dry before applying the paw pads.
- Peel off the sticker from the pad and carefully place it on your dog’s paw.
Paw protectors can be used in two ways:
Apply the entire pad directly to your dog’s paw (be sure to trim the hair for a better fit).
Cut the pad into 5 smaller sections and apply each section individually.

I used the entire pad on Capri’s paw pads. I didn’t get them on perfectly but they are 100% doing the job!
48-Hour Test: How the Paw Pads Held Up
I kept the paw pads on Capri for 48 hours, and honestly, I could’ve left them on longer. However, since the weather warmed up and it wasn’t freezing outside anymore, I didn’t want her to start trying to take them off when I wasn’t around. Here’s a picture of what they looked like after I took them off—while they definitely showed some wear and tear, they held up pretty well!

Conclusion: Paw Protectors For Dogs Are a Must Have!
My final thoughts:
- Affordable: Reasonably priced, making it an accessible option for all dog owners.
- Easy to Use: Simple to put on your dog’s paws without the struggle.
